In depth

Verdict

Rated 88, DISCOVERY ISLAND was sent off favourite at Newcastle on his reappearance though could only manage third. But the Godolphin charge gets another chance over this longer trip with headgear applied. Lady Sansa showed ability on her debut when placed over a mile at Kempton and this extra distance should suit while Dark Scimitar finished fourth in the other division of the same maiden at Kempton. Antonine Road is a likely improver and the newcomer Media Storm could go well under Ben Curtis.
