Weet Yer Tern was good value for his win in a classified stakes race at Kempton earlier this month and is taken to follow up here with the main dangers looking to come from Et Dona Ferentes and Bathwick Emma. The last mentioned has slipped to a fair mark but has failed to trouble the judge since landing a seller here last month and is probably best watched. Reg Hollinshead's Keon ran better at Southwell last time but could probably do with some help from the handicapper, while Stoneacre Fred maybe better over shorter. Wodhill Schnaps is closely matched with Et Dona Ferentes on running at Southwell recently but may be better on the Fibresand, while his conqueror there is only 3lbs higher today but may also not be as effective back on the Polytrack. The vote then goes to recent Kempton winner Weet Yer Tern, who is taken to defy a 5lb rise since that success.
