Fearsome bids for a hat-trick having narrowly beaten Thaqaffa at Lingfield, though the latter re-opposes on better terms. Kaser has been in fine form over shorter trips here recently and should go close if lasting home while a tongue-tie is applied to Gawdawpalin after a poor effort over track and trip and the latter has a shout on an earlier fifth in the November Handicap at Doncaster off a 6lb higher mark. But TECHNOLOGICAL (NAP) won a novice event over 1m4f at Lingfield last year and, with a recent fourth at the same track under his belt, George Margarson’s colt is fancied to come good dropping down a grade for this.
