Eastborough gets the call here ahead of Bubbling Fun, Lake Diva, Efrhina and United Spirit. Looking at the runners and Typhoon Tilly won well last time, but had a lot in his favour that day, while Eastborough looked to be running into form last time and, coming here in that vein, can reasonably be expected to run a big race from what is not far above a winning mark. Screenplay was disappointing last time when seemingly holding a decent chance. Bubbling Fun is now back to a competitive mark, while Lake Diva dead-heated with Efhrina at Southwell last time and is now a pound better off at the weights. United Spirit is another that is back to a winning mark, while Broughton Knows scored well in a seller at Lingfield on Wednesday but this is tougher. Ezz Elkheil has form enough in the early part of 2004 to be given a chance here now that his rating is dropping. Overall, though, that run of Eastborough sticks in the mind and he gets our vote today.
