    Verdict

Nankeen made a successful debut at Windsor in May so the lack of a recent run shouldn't pose a problem. He then just failed to concede 7lb to Western Alliance at Nottingham three weeks later though that form hasn't worked out particularly well and the concession of 12lb to ETERNAL SUMMER may prove beyond him. A daughter of Kingman out of a mare who has produced winners with her first five offspring, she cost a whopping 350,000gns and should be ideally suited by this trip. Natalie Rose didn't run badly here last month and may prove best of the remainder.
