Verdict

COPPER CANYON makes plenty of appeal. A beaten favourite over 1m2f on his latest outing, the step up in distance may have come too soon as he failed by only a narrow margin to win over C&D on his penultimate start. Andrew Haynes' colt can make amends here. Woop Woop has shown enough over shorter trips to suggest Stef Higgins will find a race for her sooner rather than later and the tough and consistent Ivan's A Star cannot be ignored racing at his level.
