In depth

Verdict

SYMBOL OF LIGHT made no mistake when sent off odds-on favourite over track and trip and winning by over four lengths. The Godolphin charge can defy a penalty and go in again. State Legend finished closer here back in September and Makinmedoit finished strongly at Kempton after a slow start but Beaches went backwards at Newbury last time. Enforced is a 160,000gns full-brother to a Group 3 winner and a newcomer to note.
