Boogie Shoes and Starstuded both ran encouraging debuts and both should improve not only for the experience but also this step up in trip. Both make the list but preference this time is for the John Gosden newcomer POTOMAC. Relatively well bred and from top connections the colt hails from a stable that can get them ready first time and who also hold a good record at this track with their two-year-olds. Adam Kirby is one of the best all-weather jockey's around and he rides Monicalew, who also ahs a solid debut to build on. Richard Hannon cleaned up with his two-year-olds on the turf so his Duke Of Florence is given maximum respect but Potomac has plenty in his favour.
