In depth

Verdict

Pactolos Way looks the one to beat in the finale with Bold Indian and Airman also considered. The selection was only just beaten by Henry The Seventh at Kempton last time and compensation surely awaits here for this course and distance winner. Bold Indian is a viable alternative as he also went close here last time and his three runs on this track have seen him in the money on each occasion. Airman has yet to prove himself over this trip and his best efforts to date have been over 7f. Bolton Hall is capable of winning this but he is hard to catch right he has proved an expensive horse to follow. Climate goes well here and could represent some each-way value, but Pactolos Way gets the vote to land the nightcap.
