In depth

Verdict

REBEL CAUSE ran well to take second on his racecourse debut and should make a bold bid with normal progress. He has a race-fitness advantage over Invocation, who will likely be winning one of these events before long based on last year’s placed efforts. Swiftee was a long way behind the winner when third at Windsor but Loveisreckless did well to finish third here last time considering he got loose on the way to the start. Nobel Duke is a half-brother to a winner on the all-weather and is a newcomer to keep an eye on in the betting.
