    Verdict

Blinkers are applied for the first time to Byron Gala, a runner-up at Kempton on his reappearance. He's proven a shade headstrong in the past and will be trying to avoid a battle for the lead with the front-running Maxie T. The latter failed to make all at Lingfield last time when Masterpaver swept by in the closing stages to finish a close-up third. Alan Bailey's charge has leading claims of adding to his earlier hat-trick but another chance goes to the less-exposed ZAMRA. She ran well for second behind the progressive Tizlove Regardless when stepped up to today's distance and may well land a quick double for her yard if the previous race went to plan.
