In depth

Verdict

Paths Of Glory has been raised a further 5lb and is upped in class bidding for a hat-trick but has scope for further progress. Flaming Marvel is more exposed but usually runs well here having won over 1m6f earlier but Dubai Tradition missed out on a treble when struggling at Goodwood back in July and hasn’t raced since. This is tougher than the race Asian Angel won at Southwell last time but EL MISK was unsuited by the slow early pace when beaten in a three-runner affair at Yarmouth last month and John Gosden’s colt gets another chance in this lower grade.
