It is very difficult to ignore the claims of Caroubier and, although he is unlikely to represent the best bet of the evening with regard to value, he is the likeliest winner in what in truth is only a moderate contest. Blushing Prince and My Retreat should again run their races and hold decent place claim again this evening. While Nite Owl Fizz appeals as the best of the rest but lacks the scope of Caroubier, who can give Harry Cyzer a welcome winner in his first season as trainer in his own right.
