Verdict

Perfect Cracker has won again since landing this race last year and is 9lb higher today. He finished ahead of MONT RAS (NAP) when runner-up here last time but the latter re-opposes on better terms and can take advantage of his recent slide down the weights. Jack Of Diamonds finished behind the selection earlier but beat Idol Deputy when scoring over a shorter trip here recently while the consistent Sheila's Buddy won at Lingfield last month and can go well again raised 3lb. Capo Rosso has something to prove over this longer trip but Ready went close the last time he raced over course and distance in November albeit in a lower grade.
