      Verdict

LORD MELBOURNE (NAP) was below par here last month but can't be written off just yet as he lost a hind shoe and suffered a cut on his leg. He should run his race this time for a yard in top form. Story Horse was narrowly beaten over track and trip latest and Polemon went close at Kempton while Composite placed at the track last week. Caustic has only found one too good in a couple of bumpers and debuts under this code fitted with a tongue-tie.
