In depth

Verdict

Peruvian Princess is selected ahead of Dyanita and Coleridge. Peruvian Princess obliged with the minimum of fuss on Friday and as she looks to be ahead of the handicapper on all known evidence; we find it difficult to oppose her. Dyanita obliged on her latest start at Wolverhampton but that was some time ago and second placed, Tender The Great has made a habit of finding one too good. Coleridge has always shaped as if needing a bit further and the booking of Eddie Ahern is a distinct positive. With Brendan Powell's team in good form at the moment, the market is watched. Bijou Dan is better against plating class opposition while Startori has not trained on. Dapple Dawn makes a British debut. My Pension looks hard to fancy on recent evidence. Peruvian Princess is still progressing and she receives the nod.
