In depth

Verdict

Sandbetweenourtoes went close here last time but has had plenty of chances and SMALLJOHN is preferred. He scored over track and trip last month and if anything this looks an easier task despite a 4lb rise. Bryan Smart's charge gets the vote. Striker Torres could figure if in the mood and better is expected from Hawk Moth back on the Polytrack after a below par effort at Newmarket last month. Beautiful Lando went close at Kempton on his latest start and makes most appeal of the remainder.
