Our Kes is the only one of these to have won this year when dead-heating with Carter at Kempton last month. He had Wrecking Crew behind on that occasion and the latter has since gone close at the same track, but the vote goes to BARBIROLLI. He's been running in amateur races of late but finished fourth to Barodine in this grade over C&D back in January and won't need to improve much on that to take this contest. Holyfield Warrior has been placed in similar company on his last three starts and is tried over a longer trip today.
