In depth

Verdict

CHARLIE LAD is weighted to reverse earlier running over course and distance with the winner Go Charlie if an apprentice's allowance is taken into account. The former went close again Southwell last time while Rat Catcher beat Frank The Barber when scoring here last month but has since finished behind fourth-placed Go Charlie at Lingfield. Quantum Dot won a couple of Class 7 sprints at Kempton last year but Your Lucky Day may prove a bigger threat having finished closer on his last couple of outings and making only his second appearance in a handicap.
