        Verdict

        Desert Sunrise sticks to maiden company, despite having earned a handicap rating. She's rated 7lb higher than Beacon Tarn and should make a bold bid but LA DANZA is just preferred. Alan Bailey's filly finished a creditable third at Kempton last time and can open her account if showing any further progress. Fusion and Mojo Bear are other likely improvers and although Portrait's pedigree sends out mixed signals regarding the trip, she's worth a second glance in the betting on her debut.
