In depth

Verdict

HOT TEAM (NAP) won on the Tapeta before going in again in an apprentices’ race at Newbury and escapes a penalty. The hat-trick beckons for Patrick Morris’ charge in his current form. Wurlitzer has yet to win but will be sharper for last month’s reappearance third over a shorter trip here but Gangway needs to find more off his current mark. Dewey Road steps up in trip having tumbled down the weights while Broken Rifle is usually thereabouts on this surface.
