George Chaloner claims 3lb off MONTE CASSINO and that may just be enough for Bryan Smart's nine-year-old to recapture the winning thread. He may just have needed last week's third over track and trip. Kasbhom looks a big danger as he won over 6f here in January and wasn't beaten far off his new mark at Lingfield next time, though his best form is at that shorter trip. Darnathean is a little better than recent form figures suggest but connections don't seem to know his best distance and Glenridding is starting to look a light of former days. Izzy Boy could easily bounce back from a poor run at Southwell however.
