Diamond Orchid is going the right way and can land this modest prize ahead of Shatin Special and Port Moreno. David Evans' filly has yet to run here at Wolverhampton but showed enough at Southwell when runner up to the in form Bella Pavlina to suggest a race of the nature is well within her grasp. Shatin Special was well beaten in a better race here last time, however if reproducing her January running when second to Platinum Dancer she should be in the shake up. Port Moreno may have gone off the boil recently but has to be given a chance on last years form which included a victory here in a class E handicap. Course winner Bevier is another worthy of a mention but in what is quite a weak contest Diamond Orchid is given the nod.
