    Verdict

    STAND GUARD is likely to start a short price. John Butler's charge has won twice over shorter distances, including at this course last week, since scoring over C&D in December and is clear at the weights. Kazbow is next best on official ratings but arrives out of form so Priestley's Reward looks a bigger threat on the back of a win in a Lingfield seller. The remainder have a stack to find on today's terms and will do well to get involved.
