The progressive VENTURA DESTINY defied a 6lb rise for winning at Newcastle to score by a wide-margin at Southwell last week. She has another hike in the weights to contend with but is still fancied to confirm Newcastle running with second-placed Camacho Man. The latter looks the biggest threat once again given You Don't Own Me was placed over 6f at Kempton last time and blinkers are applied while Captain Corelli returned a losing favourite over the same distance at Newcastle on his handicap debut.
