Brouhaha and Count Treviso look capable of at least making the frame in the final race of the day, but it is MARAJAA who gets the nod. The selection was a winner at Kempton at the last time of asking and looks to have found his level. The gelding has risen slightly in the weights but this shouldn't hinder progress and the seven-year-old looks like getting the better of course specialist Brouhaha. Tom Dascombe's gelding has been victorious over course and distance on four separate occasions this year but his form of late has been a little inconsistent. Last time here the five-year-old came in eighth of 11 in a stronger event than his previous victories. Tenth at Kempton last time the gelding has let form slip but he should not be underestimated on his return to his favoured course. Xtra Torrential has been largely disappointing since returning from four months away from the track. His two runs this year have been against much tougher horses than he comes up against today though and this step up in trip may suit so he should make the money. Of the rest few make any appeal and will need to improve if they are to worry the selection Marajaa.
