Verdict

No recent winning form to go on here and a purely speculative vote goes the way of SAIRAAM. His failure to win last year has seen him plunge down the weights and Charles Smith's charge may be good enough to land this on his reappearance. Monsieur Pontaven has the more recent form with a second over C&D in January and can figure with a repeat, while Nacho Libre isn't out of this either. My Best Man scored at Kempton early this year but has been beaten out of sight since.
