        Verdict

        Gabrial's King didn't look the most straightforward when drifting off a straight line and failing to land the odds at this track a week ago. He does have the beating of Clean Bowled on that running, but looks worth taking on taking on today as he's likely to start a short-price once again. QUIXOTE could prove a safer option as he came up against a couple of progressive types in nurseries at the end of last year and this looks an easier task for Clive Brittain's charge. Waspy and Rhyme Royal are hard to fancy on their form to date, but it would be no surprise to see both improve making their handicap debuts today.
