The handicapper took no chances with German import De Rigueur and raised him 9lb for a win at Haydock in September while English Summer has reverted back to his old ways after scoring at Lingfield in the same month. Standpoint makes a quick reappearance having found a couple too good at Lingfield on Wednesday and still looks a shade a high in the weights as does the unpredictable Boa. The latter beat Sir Boss over C&D last month with BADEA further behind but Richard Fahey's charge is fancied to reverse running on better terms today.
