Verdict

SON OF AFRICA won a decent handicap at Goodwood before hanging left at Ayr last time. He'll have the rail to guide him here and should go close. Ticks The Boxes never figured in a sales race at York back in August and has been rested since. He ran well at Chester before that and Bamboccianti came good in a maiden race at York in September. The remainder have some catching up to do but Dark Side Dream ran well here last month on his handicap debut.
