Sofinella comes here in top form but Tony Carroll's charge is now on a career high mark and so we will instead plump for Gifted Lass ahead of Thoughtsofstardom and Triskaidekaphobia. The selection has a fair draw in seven and should be able gain a prominent position with the minimum of fuss and whilst he is above his highest winning mark, he still looks competitive and this course and distance winner is given the nod. There are plenty of course and distance winners in the lineup which adds to its complexity and the draw could prove an important factor. Blessed Place is poorly drawn for a horse who likes to race prominently, as is Rann Na Cille. Thoughtsofstardom should be respected but he is another who looks high enough in the weights. There is no denying that Stoneacre Boy is well treated on old form but he hasn't looked in love with the game of late. Hello Roberto is hit and miss, like Divalini but both are capable if putting their best foot forward. Sandwith is yet another to consider in an open sprint, however it is Gifted Lass who we return to as the selection.
