Most would have some sort of chance in this and many are old rivals. Fighting Temeraire is back over his best trip after a run over a mile at Chelmsford and the same can be said of Chookie Dunedin, a five times winner here, after he was slowly away over 6f at Newcastle. Keith Dalgleish’s charge has a decent chance overturning running last month with both Baby Steps and Tintoretto. Mohareb has placed twice over track and trip and should be thereabouts again but the vote goes to PARALLEL WORLD, who has done all of his winning over 7f and could take some pegging back today if getting to the front from a wide berth. Dutch Decoy also enters the equation but his second at Newcastle suggests he’s a few pounds too high now.

Baby Steps 7-2 (9-6) Tracked leader over 2f, handy 3rd, led inside final 2f, ridden over 1f out, headed entering final furlong, not pace of winner, just held on for 2nd, 2nd of 9, 1 1/2l behind Zhui Feng (9-7) at Kempton 7f hcp (4) pol in Feb.
