The trio for the shortlist are SIR MOZART, Jord and Cross Section and the vote goes to Sir Mozart. Tony Martin is a shrewd trainer and Sir Mozart showed enough at Dundalk last time to make him a leading player here. He makes plenty of appeal on breeding, the booking of Jamie Spencer is eyecatching and any market support would further fuel the confidence. Jord could be the fly in the ointment as she wasn't beaten far behind the progressive Divine Force here earlier in the week. She has won over the course and distance and she should be capable of claiming some prize money again today. Cross Section has not got many miles on the clock and she should appreciate this longer trip after getting outpaced over 6f last time. Carmenero is not easy to win with and he finished just behind Jord over this course and distance when last seen out. He is probably best watched today, with King of Rhythm making more each-way appeal. However, this looks a good opportunity for Sir Mozart who gets the vote.
