Four Tel can pick up this prize at the expense of Tanforan and Royal Embrace. Nicky Vaughan's charge has only had seven career starts and connections look to have been quite careful about not going to the well too often. He appeared to appreciate a switch to positive tactics and with the track favouring a handy type, he looks worth risking on this occasion. Tanforan needs no introduction to regulars to Wolverhampton. He is completely exposed but has the plum draw tonight. Royal Embrace was a beaten favourite at Kempton. He appears to need everything to go his way in order to win races. Northern Desert has not shown too much of late but his trainer is sending out winners so the market should be watched. Tancredi is given a similar brief on reappearance from absence. Ginger Princess is still a maiden but Irish raiders have endured plenty of success of late so it will be interesting to see whether the euros will accompany him across the water. Lincolneurocruiser has lost the plot of late and the handicapper has pegged him accordingly. Four Tel has less negatives than most and secures the nod.
