In depth

Verdict

Wakai Umi has switched yards since winning at Dundalk last month and is 8lb higher while Royal Mariner’s earlier double at Lingfield came over a longer trip. Tephi went close at the latter track when William Buick was last on board but Karl Burke’s yard is in fine form and EXQUISITELY is taken to make a winning debut in handicaps having been beaten only a nose at Newcastle last time.
