A wide-open handicap to round off proceedings can go the way of Primo Gold, with Sedge, Nashaab and Climate all to be considered. Primo Gold has perhaps more scope than the others, being the only three-year-old in the line-up, and on the strength of a first career victory at Kempton, is taken to follow up. He handles the surface, and with the very capable Adam Kirby on board, makes most appeal. Sedge just keeps finding one too good, but is nothing if not consistent, and as he has course form, is expected to be in the shake-up as well. Nashaab is nine now, but is still holding his form fairly well and can get involved despite having his fair share of weight, while Climate is running into form and is another to consider. Burnley Al in contrast has gone a bit off the boil but would be dangerous to rule out at best, as would topweight Joshua's Gold. We look to the other end of the handicap for the winner though, in the shape of Primo Gold.
