    Verdict

DEMBE made a winning start in handicaps when scoring at Kempton. He returned a cosy winner has the scope to defy a 7lb rise with only the Chelmsford runner-up Hazel looking a threat. The latter has a shout dropping back down in class but the novice winner Holy Endeavour missed the whole of last year while Crackling is preferred to stablemate Harbour Vision of the remainder.
