        Verdict

        Maahir cost 100,000gns and is related to a couple of winners. He's preferred to Sheriff Of Nawton of the newcomers and should be a factor, especially if the betting speaks in his favour. Sand Stormer blotted his copybook when playing up in the stalls and unseating last time and Shamardyh has plenty to find on official figures with BROWNSVILLE. The latter is having his first start since October but his yard have won with six of the seven three-year-olds they've sent to this track in 2014 and he may well be another to add to the tally.
