A chance is taken with Cap St Jean, who is on the right track to win a race before too long and may have the most to fear from Kimono My House and Lady Aspen. The last named has dropped to an attractive mark and, after an encouraging effort at Bath last month, the Ian Williams-trained filly is worth a second look in the betting. However, she is exposed after 11 straight defeats and is not one to be jumping overboard with. Kimono My House is related to several tough individuals that paid their way at various levels. Being by Dr Fong, she should cope with the surface and can be expected to be in the thick of the action. However, Cap St Jean just edges the verdict in terms of potential and, as this faster surface is likely to bring the best out of him (copes with Southwell but best efforts on firm ground on turf), the son of Cape Cross can sound another timely reminder for veteran trainer Reg Hollinshead.
