This is another weak race and Al Awwam, Heathyardsblessing and Comic Tales are all shortlisted and the vote is given to Al Awwam. The selection put up a really game effort last time when third behind Dundonald over 7f on this track. He nearly stole the race the race that day but just ran out of steam, so the return to 6f should suit and he looks the one they all have to beat. Heathyardsblessing has been below-par for a while now but this is a poor race and if he could get anywhere near his best then he would have a chance. However, the percentage call is to take him on. Comic Tales is one of the least-exposed in the field and he shaped encouragingly over this course and distance last time in a better race than this when fourth behind Jalouhar. A reproduction of that effort would see him go close and if the market speaks in his favour then it could pay to take the hint. Zahunda is in fair form but he is better over further, and for the winner we return to Al Awwam.
