Arran Scout is a tentative choice to break his duck ahead of Armatore, Peace Emblem and Air of Supremacy. Kevin Ryan is double-handed with Wescote and Arran Scout, and it is the latter that is the more interesting as he has been placed on each of his last three starts. He has come down the weights nearly a stone since finishing well adrift of Binary Vision at York in June, and has another chance to open his account, having already shown that he can act on this surface recently. Armatore was second here at the end of December but failed to build on that when fourth at Lingfield last week. He was sent off as favourite that day and will be fancied again here. Peace Emblem has his first outing since coming across from Ireland after finishing second at Ballinrobe in August and on the evidence so far will find conditions too fast on the Polytrack. Air of Supremacy will handle the track though, having already raced three times at Lingfield. He has yet to show any worthwhile form though, and Arran Scout makes more appeal.
