In depth

Verdict

ROBERTO ESCOBARR has been off the track for just over a year having finished runner-up at Kempton when last in action. He’s weighted to come out best on these terms having finished just in front of Earlofthecotswolds when last seen. The latter went on the land the All-Weather Championships Marathon, with Onesmoothoperator back in third, and is preferred to the returning Calling The Wind, whose best effort last year was a third in the Queen Alexandra over a longer trip at Ascot. Fleurman has been in good form in handicaps though has plenty to find on these terms.
