New England can end a frustrating run of seconds, with Lucius Verrus, Sonic Anthem and Cup Of Love set to give him most to do. New England has been unlucky to say the least, having come out the wrong side of three close finishes since the start of the year, and Mark Brisbourne must be banging his head against a brick wall trying to come up with the answer to make him go one better. It may be that he has simply been unlucky, and off his current mark he has to be persevered with, as we reckon that his time has come. His main rival Lucius Verrus has been in form but is creeping up the weights and tries tonight's trip for the first time since his debut in 2003. With that in mind we feel that he is worth opposing on this occasion. Sonic Anthem in contrast drops back in trip and tries the Polytrack for the first time, so is another that is best watched along with Cup Of Love who is a bit too keen for her own good lately. My Pension appears to be a bit too high in the weights at present, and so New England may finally get the opportunity to return to the winner's enclosure.
