      Verdict

      Few with realistic chances and Treetops Hotel can edge the verdict over Mr Excel and Mayadeen. The selection has won over course-and-distance before and although he is arguably flattered by his current BHA rating, he is relatively trustworthy as far as this grade is concerned. Mr Excel had some form for Jamie Osborne and has shown nothing since leaving that yard. Mayadeen is exposed as ordinary and did little to dispel that impression in two recent starts over hurdles. Plating hurdler, Trackattack looks best of the three apparent "no-hopers" that complete the entry in this affair. This is not a gimme for Treetops Hotel but connections would struggle to find an easier opportunity for him in the formbook.
