      Verdict

Sweet Pickle, Expensive Art and Hotham look the three to concentrate on in this handicap and the vote is given to Hotham. The selection has been in good form of late and he was a fair fourth behind Desperate Dan last time out. That horse has since been out and won so the form looks solid enough and he can regain the winning thread from the plum draw. Sweet Pickle rates the main danger as she beat Came Back with a little in hand last time. However consistency is not her strong point and she had previously been well beaten here. Expensive Art is another last time out winner that is worthy of respect as he beat Feelin Foxy last time, but he will need to improve again to win off this higher mark against these experienced handicappers. Louphole looks weighted up to his best and he has a dreadful draw, while Jilly Why and Memphis Man are well weighted on their best form and are others to note in the market. This is a race where few can be ruled out but for the winner we will stick with Hotham.
