In depth

Verdict

Inner Voice, Billich and Le Colombier are three against the field in this maiden with the vote going to Inner Voice. The selection hails from a top yard and this well bred Cozzene colt, half-brother to winners up to 1m3f including the smart performer Lord Flasheart will not need to be anything special to make a winning debut. Billich rates the main danger on his latest second behind De La Rue but he has had plenty of chances and again looks vulnerable. Le Colombier was a fair fourth behind Costeau last time and is another with place claims but the suspicion is he will be seen to better effect over a longer trip once handicapped. Of the remainder , Montjeu Man is another that could go well but Inner Voice is taken to make a winning debut.
