Original Choice and Big Country are both in the Lincoln later this month but return from an absence. The latter drops back in trip but the former made a winning reappearance here last year and is partnered by Ryan Moore for this. CONSTANTINO is currently a big price for the Lincoln but has a fitness advantage having won at Lingfield a week ago on his first start of the year and that could give Richard Fahey’s charge the edge today. Mr Scaramanga has gone close at this level in both starts so far this year and Pactolus is always a threat in this grade, though may need further to show his best. The latter comment also applies to Swift Emperor while Examiner is not badly treated but is another having to overcome a lay-off.
