Barwah won a couple of races at Kempton either side of finishing second in a Class 7 contest here in December. Lindart beat Avertor in a seller here in the same month and Telegraph scored over track and trip on his penultimate start, though failed to cope with a penalty last time. Southwell winner Poppy Bond has also looked high enough in the weights since but BOND'S GIFT remains unexposed. The latter returned from a lay-off with a close-up second over course and distance and Geoff Oldroyd's lightly-raced mare looks up to landing this.
