Scott Dixon has a strong hand in this year's renewal as Docofthebay just failed to catch Dunelight in this race last March. He has every chance today with a similar effort but finished a couple of lengths behind stablemate CAPONE over 6f at Lingfield last time. The latter has a bit to find at the weights here, although he does look capable of further progress back over today's extra furlong and he gets the nod on that basis. Clockmaker beat Lockantanks over C&D in December and has claims, but the latter has subsequently been beaten by Night Lily and Paul D'Arcy's filly could also figure. Belgian Bill has been racing at Meydan without success and drops back in distance for this, while Elshabakiya is interesting on her return given the four-year-old filly was competing in better company for most of last year.
