      Verdict

      A competitive enough race despite a lack of numbers and we like Northern Desert against Snow Bunting and Dancing Deano. Northern Desert has ran some consistent races in plating grade in the past and his second to Ninth House reads particularly well versus other available form. The in-form Kirsty Milczarek is aboard. Snow Bunting still retains a degree of ability in the face of advancing years. He doesn't win too often but is largely consistent. Dancing Deano won a particularly weak seller at Southwell and is up against better opposition this evening. Gifted Heir is a regular in this company over hurdles and on the level and is not to be discounted in the event of any support. Spy Gun steps up to seven furlongs having ran over six in handicaps. The Jailer is likely to be sent on under catch me if you can tactics and the other riders will need to keep a careful watch on the clock as a consequence. Lucius Verrus has been disappointing of late. Northern Desert has plenty of positives in a race of this nature and he secures the confident nod.
